We have our own motorway exit from the A1 "Westautobahn".

‘The World Taxidermy Championships®’ are taking place for the 2nd time in Europe -
in Salzburg once again!
After the first time in 2008, Salzburg has once again been chosen to host ‘The World Taxidermy Championships®’. The event is being staged by Reed Messe Salzburg Gmbh with the assistance of the Austrian Federal Guild of Fashion and Clothing Technology, the European Taxidermy Federation (ETF), and ‘Breakthrough Magazine Inc.’
The crème de la crème can place their work under the scrutiny of an expert jury in 3 divisions (Master, Professional, Novice). The very best taxidermist will then be awarded the title ‘World Taxidermy Champion 2012’, in the Master Division!
Two trade fairs are being staged parallel to the WTC2012 Salzburg Exhibition Centre on the 23. – 26.2.2012:
‘Die Hohe Jagd & Fischerei’: The largest trade fair in the central European alps for hunting and fishing, and the number.2 in the whole of the European continent (www.hohejagd.at)
‘absolut allrad’: off-road and 4x4 vehicle show
